Start by writing down the main functions of your business such as performance, marketing, selling, etc. After you list those, begin to list responsibilities under each heading. For example your 'marketing' category may be broken down into specific tasks such as cold calling, campaign building, etc. As you list down all the tasks it will give you a visual representation of what exactly needs to be done. Once you have your list complete, it will be easier to assign the tasks and make sure they are all taken care of. |

Once you list the specific tasks that must be done for your business, every small business owner must make sure that ample amount of time is spent on each task, but not so much time that it detracts from other areas. Allotting blocks of time for each responsibility will not only help keep you in a productive area, but it helps keep your employees more efficient. Use Technology To Your AdvantageWith all of the rapid developments in the technology field, there is no reason not to use them to your benefit. To help your business stay organized, start keeping digital copies of all records, receipts, files, etc. This will allow you to easily access information in case an emergency comes up and you need quick access to the files. Another great advancement in recent years is the ability to synchronize all of your devices together.
